Summary: China's stainless steel exports exceed 400,000 tons for the first time in May
China's stainless steel production has declined for two consecutive months, while exports continued to increase for nearly three months. In May, China’s stainless steel exports have exceeded market expectations for the first time, to 400,000 tons, mainly due to the exports to Italy and India have surged. 

Although the exports would help and reduce China's overcapacity problem, but with Indonesia Tsingshan Stainless Steel put into the production the production, China's stainless steel exports will face severe challenged in the second half of this year.
